Dame Felicity Lott & Graham Johnson Graham Johnson comments on the genesis of this program, "Thirty-four years’ of putting up with concert nerves is either tragic or funny, and we would rather it were the latter for all our sakes. This had to be a programme with an amusing slant. Having said that, there is always a touch of tragedy in any humorous situation, and this recital is no exception. We have done scores of serious programmes over the years, but this is something of a party, and there are moments when it is appropriate to let down one’s hair." Johnson's erudite and witty notes and program details are now available on the web.
