This year's series of concerts in the community begins in March. The recitals feature the winners of the Vocal Arts Society auditions in programs designed not only to please our devoted subscribers, but also to engage listeners who may still need to develop their appreciation of art song. These programs provide excellent and affordable opportunities to invite potential new members of our audience to a delightful program, and to support young artists in the Greater Washington Metropolitan area. We are appearing in some new venues this year, notably the new BlackRock Center for the Arts. Please help us to find those musiclovers that will fill the Terrace Theater in the future. As an inducement, attendees at a Discovery series recital will receive a discount coupon that may be used towards a regular Vocal Arts Society recital ticket or towards a first-time subscription to the 2005-06 regular series. Recital schedule and coupon rules are available at www.vocalartssociety.org/discovery. |
