Two opportunities remain to hear this year's Art Song Discovery recitals. The recitals feature the winners of the Vocal Arts Society auditions in programs designed not only to please our devoted subscribers, but also to engage listeners who may still need to develop their appreciation of art song. These programs provide excellent and affordable opportunities to invite potential new members of our audience to a delightful program, and to support young artists in the Greater Washington Metropolitan area.

Soile Isoskoski is our final singer of the 2004-2005 season, Thursday Apr. 28, 7:30 pm in the Terrace Theater. She extends her reputation in the United States this year returning to the Metropolitan in Faust, after earlier appearances in Le Nozze di Figaro and La Juive. And she sings for the Vocal Arts Society in Washington, D.C.
